TLDR version

  • in 2019 Konami tried to do their own version of the insane money spinner that is EA Fifa's ultimate team mode.
  • In 2020 Konami lets you buy full clubs and all the players and managers in packs for $5
  • The catch is in a mode all about making a custom team and making your dream team etc etc the team packs have all the players and managers locked so they can only play them as that team and not as part of any custom teams meaning unless you only want to replicate a real life team's line up then the team packs are useless.
