With the new films basically everything from NH to ROTJ was all for nothing? That’s what they are telling us and here’s why

Because at the end of ROTJ is Luke having become Jedi in full, Han and Leia are together with the Empire defeated.

Yeah… by the time of TFA and especially LOTJ more so that's like all gone.

Han and Leia broke up or at least spilt apart at some point, with Han going back to his old smuggling ways.

Luke tried to start a new Jedi order but failed with instead retreating to some planet to die with leaving behind all his friends and family to basically die at the hands of the new Empire.

Oh both Han and Luke get killed off to with Han doesn't even get mentioned in LOTJ besides once.

Then it's the First Order itself is now once again as powerful as ever and the Resistance is once again a small bunch of Rebels.

Like so to sum that all up, it pretty much says that nothing though New Hope to Return of the Jedi was really all that important.

The only two main things that happened was Darth Vader and the Emperor dying, but that's it.

For Han, Luke and Leia it's kind of like "haha, no matter what you guys do for Han and Leia getting together or Luke going through all these trials to become a Jedi" it really won't matter in the end.

So I'd say this is one my biggest issues with the new trilogy of films thus far
