Notice this media narrative shifting on the Lakers? It’s so they can claim to be “right” when LA is loaded.

Remember just a week ago when the Lakers were a fire dumpster? Nobody wants to play here? Kawhi isn’t even seriously considering the Lakers?

Then we trade for AD, and we gave up way too much, and Rob Pelinka fucked everything up with no cap space, we made a great trade and still failed?

Then when max cap space opens up everything has shifted? Kawhi is seriously considering us, and players are lining up to play here on a minimum contract?

Now the media can claim to right and in the know when LA owns the off-season, as nobody will even talk about how they slandered us for MONTHS before.
