Remember the wall to wall, enthusiastically supportive, media free-for-all bonanza over the Arab Spring “uprisings”? (Islamic takeovers)

I wonder… Oh how I wonder… What it could be about the nature of this one in Iran that has them suddenly not feeling so supportive… All of the things they cited as reasons for supporting the Arab Spring are there, brutal repression of dissent, restriction of various rights. Not only are they there but it isn't debatable that the alternative is going to be better for the public. There is no major Sunni presence in Iran to take over with the other brand of radicalism. This is an in house dispute mostly pushed by genuine people who want to be free.

And yet… Crickets from these former cheerleaders. Sure it's partially because Trump but it goes deeper than that. It's about Islam. How many of these people are closeted followers like Brennan?
