Donjon for B/X rules random dungeons?

So I've been enjoying making up random dungeons in wizardawn for what I hope to be my first real B/X campaign using OSE. And while this is nice, I really like the nice even grids that donjon can create much more than the geomorphs of wizardawn. The problem being, wizardawn can make dungeons and items specifically for B/X. And with donjon, it appears the closest I can get is ad&d. Is this really a problem? I know ad&d is a fair bit more involved and complicated, but are the monsters, items and loot comparable to B/X?
