Is anyone else happy that “death matches” are becoming a thing of the past?

I can see how some people find them entertaining but honestly I just find them hard to watch due to the fact that human beings are literally being thrown off ladders onto burning tables covered In thumbtacks. They literally take years off of people’s life and scar them both physically and mentally. What’s your guys opinions on this?
