[Censorship] Erotic Writer SlutWriter informed by Patreon that he must delete all offensive content he’s ever written even if it isn’t linked or mentioned on his Patreon Page

Relevant tweets: READ BOTTOM TO TOP SW has 10k followers so I've left his twitter handle unblurred. Glossary of abbreviations: HF = Hentai Foundry, AO3 = Archive of our Own

History: SlutWriter is an erotic author who started on Futanari Palace in ~2006 under a different pen name. He vanished in 2008, then re-emerged on Hentai Foundry in 2013 under his current handle, and started a successful Patreon in 2015. In 2018 or so he made his Patreon his full-time. In addition to writing, he supports other erotic artists by commissioning abridged comics of his written works.

He has always kept a large portion of his work detached from both his Patreon and his HF because in addition to writing the usual R34, vanilla, and bimbo fetish stories he also writes a large amount of highly taboo stuff – primarily shota and raceplay. On Monday Patreon audited his off-site galleries and socials and told him to either delete it all or get out.

So we have another example where Patreon is applying their TOS to the entire internet and using it as a club against adult creators. Not only can he not post taboo content off-site in the future, he must retroactively delete all of it to keep his livelihood or seek an alternative platform like SubscribeStar of Fanbox.
