Hello everyone!

Each week when I'm running a game i found myself having at least 5 PDFs so i could fast check some rule or what not. It bogged down the game so I've decided to make a DM Screen that has many useful rules and facts that you may need to fast check during your game. ^^

Here is an album if you want the DM Screen in image format.

We also have a PDF version with fully functional fillable last 2 pages. So you can either print it or use on your tablet/laptop while running the game 🙂

We are also releasing Free Battlemaps (Imgur Album) and other DnD related content at least once a week, we would love to hear your feedback, suggestions and ideas 🙂

This is it, the final product of the last couple months of monster creation! I present the 100% complete, discounting some possible grammar errors and a typo here or there, Monster Hunter Monster Manual. This manual covers every creature from the original monster hunter game up to monster hunter world, it does not include the ones that have little information like Frontier or XX. I had a lot of fun creating this and I appreciate the feedback from everyone during its creation. I have updated each separate section so that they have the same information as the full manual and created a google drive link for those who might see some formatting issues on GMBinder. For the future, I plan on creating a compendium with loot tables for the creatures, weapons from the video game series, and a rule set so that you can play your own monster hunter style D&D game. Enjoy and please let me know what you think.

Changes

• Fixed the formatting issues.
• Changed up a few DC saving throw numbers from some of my earlier creations. None of the saves changed by more than 1 or 2 so if you use the original it will not change much.
• Changed the wording in some of the abilities so they were more in line with the D&D 5e MM.
• Reworked the Gypceros play dead reaction a little, but it still roughly does what it did before.
• Moved all the creatures from the last section to their proper parts of the manual. (this includes the seperated PDFs).
• Added a table of contents and cover art .
• Other things, I can't remember them all.

Welcome Travelers to Beginner’s Tavern!…

…A place for people who just ventured out of their homes in search of great adventure!

Introduction

Every time I searched for the players for my game half of the applications were from people with low to none experience in D&D. I always gave a chance to as many of them as I could. Many of them turned out to be a great player who didn’t have a chance to play because a lot of DMs are afraid of taking inexperienced players. That’s why I decided to create this community.

Overview

We are an open discord server that aims to give newbies a chance to learn how to play D&D 5E, gain experience as a player or even a Beginner DM and have a great time together. We have a handful of Experienced DMs that run one-shots and short campaign in which they carefully explain ins and outs of D&D. They are also sitting there on the server available to answer any questions, help to create a character and provide guidance in any D&D related matter. All the games are run on our discord so that anyone can tune in, listen and watch the game. DM’s get their own text channels where they can communicate with their players without disturbance. Don’t worry if you already played few sessions, you are still a Beginner. There is no limit on how many games you can play with us! Even after you gain enough experience to not be considered a Beginner you can still stay and have fun, we don’t just play D&D. We also train people who want to become a DMs. You can run games here and Experienced DMs will watch it, help out, and give feedback and pointers how to improve your DM’ing.

Experienced DMs / Mentors

Of course, someone needs to run the games and teach new DMs. That’s where Experienced DMs and Mentors come into play. Exp. DM usually just run games and answer questions. Mentors, however, have a much more important role. They overseer Beginner DMs and give them direct lesson and guidance on how to improve/find their own style of DMing.
